Respect
the Idols.

Preserving Dignity. Protecting Devotion.
A dignified, ritual-based farewell for idols & sacred images — instead of immersion.

Devotion should never become harm — to the idols we worship, or to the world they bless.

Why this seva exists

A humble request,
from one devotee to another.

01

Dignity of the divine

Idols immersed in rivers and oceans are often left broken, washed ashore, or mistreated. The murtis we pray to deserve a farewell as sacred as their welcome.

02

Care for creation

Immersion materials can harm rivers, oceans and marine life. Devotion that comes from faith should never leave a wound on the environment.

03

Protecting our faith's name

When immersion harms nature, it gives others a chance to mock our faith and blame our religion — something none of us stand for. A wiser path protects both.

🙏 We humbly request: please choose a better path. Let our devotion reflect wisdom, care and true respect.

The IIM way

From your home
to moksha — with honour.

Step 1

Reach out

Message us on WhatsApp or call when an idol or sacred image in your home or temple is damaged, aged, or ready for farewell.

Step 2

We collect, respectfully

Our volunteers receive the idol with the reverence it deserves — carefully wrapped, carried and honoured, never discarded.

Step 3

Restore, or ritual farewell

Where possible, idols are lovingly restored. Otherwise they receive a proper ritual-based cremation conducted with full Vedic rites.

Step 4

Moksha, with dignity

The idol's journey ends the way it began — in devotion. Never thrown away. Never mistreated. Always respected.

Choose the better path.

Instead of immersing an idol, reach out to International Idol Moksha. We will receive it with the honour it deserves.
